The farm of neighbours Van der Mei is on the left, on the right side of the Flierderweg in the foreground. Martinshof (not shown) is on the left side of the Fliederweg. The cherrie tree is standing in the middle of the meadow (just to the right of center of the picture). Every summer we sat in there after school for hours gorging ourselves on the yellow-red wild cherries. The trees and houses in the background are along the Zutphen - Deventer weg, the main road connecting these cities.
